SCHOOL OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE (SCJ)

          - BS Criminology

The School of Criminology shall plan and implement integrated and sequential courses of study, utilizing didactic institution, discussion, demonstration, laboratory practice simulation, individual learning and of the job training towards the attainment of the following objectives:

a) To provide opportunity, instruction and guided experience by which the students shall learn the basic knowledge and acquire the skills essential to the practice of criminology.
b) To provide the students with a broad cultural background and understanding of constitutional guarantees and due process requirements of law, in so far as they affect the total administration of justice.
c) To foster higher concepts of citizenry, accountability, leadership, and understanding of one’s moral and legal responsibility to fellowmen, his community and his country.
d) To inspire and instill on the students the value of service to humanity.
e) To encourage research and inquiry along the field of criminology and criminal justice.
